History Through Philatelics

"Spain, a kingdom's history through philatelics"

Spain issued it's first stamps in the year 1850 during the reign of Isabel II. Stamps were put in use in Spain by Royal Decree signed October 24, 1849. The first stamps featuring Isabel II were sold for the first time on January 1st, 1850.

I hope you enjoy the site and if you have duplicates, I will include a want list with the presentation as I get more work done. I am open to trade and or purchase if the price is right. I have done all the stamps I have so far until 1931.  I am working on the information for each stamp, so far I have done them until 1855 and adding a few every day as time permits

I am still working on this page so you may see some spots that dont look right from time to time, please bear with me...
